8/28/2023 0 Comments Diablo 3 reddit cluesThis is a game you can have a much easier time popping in and out of with less commitment and still feel powerful the entire time due to the roughly 20 difficulty settings. Atmosphere is more WoW style cartoon-like. Random dungeons called rifts are the endgame and you see how high you can go by doing the higher number of rift difficulty. No trading is nice, drops are tuned nicely for solo play if that's your thing. Weapon damage based skills force you to use a very high DPS weapon. There's a "legendary" tier and "ancient legendary" tier of the same gear with higher stats. There are some other secondary stats but it's very straightforward. Items are mostly homogenized to just give you more "main stat" alongside a few key DPS stats (critical hit and critical damage). Silky smooth combat and legendary items rain from the sky. If you want to invest in a more in depth and older brutal style of experience, then go for D2.įast paced arcade style action. Devs have created more build variety with some patches. Ladder season 2 just started and added new terror zones to make farming have more variety. The real endgame grind is getting a character to 99. No real endgame other than uber boss events. PvP community is thriving and very competitive if you enjoy that. Skill trees very easy to navigate, stat system easy to navigate. Harsher difficulty and grittier atmosphere/tone. Outdated trade system is a pain and the economy and drop rates force you to trade unless you're a solo self found sadist. Top notch itemization and far deeper item grind.
